The first release. nativeharness is an agent harness that runs inside your own application:
a workspace per user, a disposable sandbox, one tool, connectors, and a resumable turn.One import.
new Harness() assembles the store, the sandbox, the tool and the loop with
defaults, and exposes every one of them.The CLI. @nativeharness/cli ships nhar: create, ls, inspect, rm, exec, files,
cat, put, export, import, chat and doctor. The first consumer to drive every layer
from outside a test.Command output now streams during a turn. BashTool publishes output events as a command
runs, bounded in bytes at the same limit the result is truncated to. Before this, an agent turn
delivered a command’s output only inside the final tool_result — a three-minute install read
as three minutes of silence.An isolating sandbox provider. sandbox-nativesandbox, over the published nativesandbox
runtime; 41 conformance cases. The agent’s refusal to run a model’s commands without isolation
is now satisfiable on hosts with no /dev/kvm.Nothing is published to npm yet.
